Packings

Packings made of aramid fiber yarn can be used up to 200 ͦ C. The chemical resistance of these yarns is rather low. Packings made of PTFE fibers have significantly better chemical resistance. They can be used at temperatures up to 250 ͦ C. At temperatures above 250 ͦ C, packings made of carbon and graphite yarns are mainly used as fitting packings in high-temperature applications.
